Orders – We reserve the right to decline any order placed with us. Our acceptance of your order will be confirmed by email, to an email address you provide. 

Cancellation and Returns Policy – If you wish to cancel your order prior to despatch of the goods please inform us immediately by telephone on 01603 663890 or by email at countryandeastern@thesouthasiacollection.co.uk. We will then cancel your online order (ensuring the payment is not processed) or issue a full refund (if payment has already been processed) and ensure the items are not despatched. Customers are also legally entitled to cancel the contract at any time within seven working days beginning on the day after the goods have been delivered to them (the “cooling-off period”). In the event that the contract is cancelled in this way within the cooling-off period you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods (including the postage charge), subject to the following conditions. In order to exercise the right of cancellation you must provide us with written notice (by email or letter) of the cancellation within the cooling-off period. The goods must be returned to us at your own risk, unused, in the same condition in which they were received. Customers have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in their possession. Refunds will be made via the method of payment.

Delivery timescales: We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the goods are delivered to the customer within 7 working days of payment. In any event, if we cannot fulfill the order within 14 days of payment we will notify you of this situation and you will be entitled to a refund if you do not wish to wait any longer for the goods.

We cannot accept liability for any goods posted by customers.

Delivery Policy – The delivery rate is determined by the products bought and the destination for delivery. We have a delivery rate of £4.99 per order. However, some heavy items may incur a higher delivery rate. We will notify you of the delivery rate prior to charging for your order so that you have the option of declining the order should you so wish. All orders are sent by a standard class Royal Mail service unless an alternative method is requested by the customer. UK ONLY

Payment Options – We accept Mastercard / Visa / Maestro / Solo / Visa Electron / JCB. We use a secure payment system. All goods remain the property of Country & Eastern until paid for in full.

Refunds – Refunds will be made via the method of payment i.e. credit card or cheque etc. 

Claims for Loss/Damage – In the unlikely event of loss or damage in transit please contact us immediately. Damaged goods must be retained for inspection and it may be required that the goods be returned to us before replacement or refunding. Our liability is limited to the selling price of the goods only.

VAT/Local Taxes & Duties – VAT is added where applicable to all products Taxes etc are the responsibility of the recipient in the Country of Destination. 

Data Protection – Country & Eastern does not sell to anyone its data base of customers and all information given remains confidential to the Company. 

Product Policy – Whilst prices and specifications have been checked, no responsibility can be taken for errors or omissions. We reserve the right to alter prices and specifications without further notice. Any dimensions weights, and measures quoted are approximate. Images are for illustration purposes only. Any product information found on the website is intended for guidance only. 

Substitutions – Country & Eastern reserve the right to substitute goods with a similar product of equal or higher value. 

Liability – Our liability for a product is limited to the guarantee of our supplier. Liability for loss is limited to the purchase price of goods. 

Situations out of our control – Whilst every effort will be made to meet all customer demands we cannot be held responsible for situations out of our control or forces of Nature, War, Labour Strikes
